What we fix

The repairs we do most

These are the faults we see week in, week out. If yours isn’t listed, still ask — we’ll take a look.

Wheels & castors

Seized, flat-spotted or snapped spinner wheels replaced so the case rolls straight again.

Trolley handles

Bent, stuck or collapsed telescopic handles — realigned or the housing replaced.

Zips & sliders

Split zips, missing pullers and zips that won’t close — often repaired without replacing the whole track.

TSA locks & latches

Jammed combination locks, spinning dials and broken catches reset or replaced.

Shells & corners

Cracks, impact damage and split seams on hard-shell cases — assessed honestly for whether a repair will hold.

Handles, straps & linings

Side and top grab handles, shoulder straps, and torn interior linings restitched or swapped.

  3. You approve

We quote the cost and timeframe. Work only starts once you say yes.

  4. Collect

Drop the bag at our Karen showroom and we’ll message you the moment it’s ready.

Good to know

Repair questions

Do you repair bags that weren’t bought from you?

Send us photos of the bag and the damage first — we’ll tell you honestly whether we can fix it and what it will cost, before any work starts.

How much does a repair cost?

It depends entirely on the part and the extent of the damage, so we don’t quote blind. Send photos and we’ll give you a firm price before any work begins.

How long will it take?

Straightforward jobs are often quick; anything needing a part ordered in takes longer. We confirm the timeframe together with your quote so you can plan around a trip.

Is a cracked hard-shell case worth repairing?

Sometimes, depending on where the crack sits and how the case is built. We’ll tell you straight if a repair won’t hold — we’d rather lose the job than sell you a fix that fails on your next trip.

What about airline or carrier damage?

We can repair it and provide an assessment of the damage, which is often useful when you’re claiming from an airline or insurer.

Can you replace wheels on any suitcase?

Most of the time, yes — wheels are our most common repair. Availability depends on the model, which is why a photo of the wheel housing helps us answer quickly.
